Hiring for a floor job can feel hard. Terms are new. Quotes look different from each other. It is tough to know what to ask. This site gives you plain questions, clear signs of a good answer, and red flags to watch for.
How a Match Works
You send a request. You tell us about your floor and your town. We point you to a provider in our network who may serve your area. Then you talk with them directly.
The provider gives the estimate. The provider does the work. You make the call at every step.
What We Ask of Providers
We ask providers in our network to answer homeowners in a clear, honest way. We ask them to explain their prep steps, the products they plan to use, and what a quote includes. We ask them to put quotes in writing.
Providers are independent. They run their own business. Please check licenses, insurance and references yourself. Plain answers only.
What We Do Not Do
Kentuckyoffering Floor Coating does not coat floors. We do not send anyone to your home to do the work. We do not set prices. We do not sign contracts for the work. Your agreement is with the provider you choose.
We also cannot promise how a job will turn out. That depends on your slab, the products and the provider.
How We Earn Money
Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. You do not pay Kentuckyoffering Floor Coating to request an estimate. That fee does not change your right to say no.
Get Ready Before You Reach Out
A little prep makes estimates smoother. Take wide photos of the whole floor. Take close photos of cracks, stains and chips. Write down the size of the space and any damp spots. Keep these notes in one place.
If damage came from a sudden event, some policies may cover it. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
